Welcome to the K. N. Crowder web site

We tried to make the site as user friendly as possible. K.N. Crowder has been in business for over 65 years and has had 4 generations of Crowders work in the company. Over the last 65 years we have prided ourselves on our reputation. From the beginning we have produced a top quality product at a fair price that has stood the test of time. Ken Newton Crowder, my grandfather, started the business with the idea that he wouldn't put his name on the product unless he was 100% sure that his customer would be satisfied. Customer satisfaction and pride in our diverse product line are still our top priorities today.

There is no question that our company wouldn't be where it is today if it wasn't for the continuing support of our customers. We try to treat every customer the way that we like to be treated. We have always been a company that looks to develop long-term relationships with our customer. We want our customers to have the proper product for the application at the best possible price. A good deal only happens when both partners are satisfied.

One of the main reasons for our being a successful company is we have always had a dedicated, loyal staff. No one at K.N. Crowder is considered just another employee no matter how big or small his or her job is. Everybody that works at K.N.C. is part of a team and they deserve and receive equal respect. That is why it has not been uncommon for an employee to have worked for K.N.C. all their adult life. In the last 7 years we have had 5 retirement parties for teammates that have worked with us for 43, 41, 30, 22 & 8 years. This in an industry where employees seem to work for multiple employers throughout their careers. We are proud to have had so many quality, loyal employees over the years.

The times are changing and businesses are forced to change in order to remain successful. We have recently built a new building. Shop drawings, quotes, ordering, shipping, inventory control, purchasing, researching & developing, communicating… and many more are all now done on computer. However, we have not lost the human touch and would be happy to discuss your needs personally. We are always working on new products and asking customers for their input. Now we have redesigned our web page to make it easy for customers to learn about our product as well as advertise to the end user. If you click on the What's New section, you will be constantly updated with what's the latest at K.N.C. If you take the time to surf our site you will find How to save moneyFrequently Asked Questions, a complete guide to all of our products and much, much more. I hope you enjoy our web page. There is a section for Suggestions & Questions, so please let us know what you think.

Name: Jeremy Crowder
Title: Vice President, KN Crowder

Jeremy Crowder is responsible for overseeing the ongoing operations and management of KN Crowder. His major focus is North American sales and product development. Jeremy works closely with architects and specification writers to ensure KN Crowder is developing products that help the end user.

KN Crowder, founded by Kenneth Crowder, Jeremy’s grandfather, is in its 70th year of business and the third generation of Crowders. Jeremy was born into the hardware business, like his father, Peter. Prior to working for KN Crowder, Jeremy was instrumental in the launch of the original Vitamix blender, introducing it into both the commercial (e.g., Starbucks) and residential markets across North America.

It is Jeremy’s passion, enthusiasm and electric personality that inspire his team. Jeremy thrives in a team environment. His collaborative approach was learned, throughout his life, through competitive sailing and hockey. Sailors have an expression: “You are only as strong as your crew.” Jeremy has worked hard to develop and nurture a strong crew at KN Crowder. As a true Toronto Maple Leaf fan says, “Go, Leafs, go,” Jeremy says, “Go, KNC, go!”
