TO INSTALL
1. Insert VERTICAL main frame (both sides).
2. Insert HORIZONTAL main frame (both top & bottom into door cut out.
3. Bed glass in putty or mastic.
4. Insert vertical bead (square ends) into channel in main frame.
5. Insert horizontal bead (mitred ends) into channel in main frame (tap with rubber mallet) both top and bottom.
NOTE: To remove door lite from door, reverse the above installation instructions.
VISION PANELS FOR ¾ HOUR FIRE DOOR:
· Maximum 1296 square inches, (exposed area), with no dimension exceeding 54 inches.
· Minimum dimensions to edges - 6 inches.
· Use listed ¼ inch wired glass only.
VISION PANELS FOR 1-1/2 HOUR FIRE DOOR:
· Maximum 100 square inches of exposed glass area.
· Minimum dimensions to edges - 6 inches.
· Use listed ¼ inch wired glass only.
NOTE: A 1/16 inch asbestos setting block must be used at bottom of glass for all
ratings.
· Lite kits are listed for use on hollow metal fire doors only, with a minimum kin face of 20 guage.
· Multiple lites are permitted. The minimum rail between each lite MUST NOT be less than 6 inches.
