The SDL-FP is a fire-rated steel door louver designed for hollow metal and composite fire doors with ratings up to 1 1/2 hours. Constructed with an 18-gauge cold rolled steel frame and 16-gauge adjustable sight-proof Z-blades, the SDL-FP provides 45% free area for airflow while maintaining privacy. The self-attaching frame features a 1 1/4 in [31.7 mm] trim with mitered, welded corners, and screws fasten through the frame into the door core, leaving the corridor side free of exposed fasteners. A fusible link activates at 165°F, closing and locking all blades to help contain smoke and heat.
