Our SDL-FP louvers are custom-built to your exact size specifications and feature sight-proof Z-blades, offering a functional and aesthetically clean solution for your door needs. Designed for easy installation and optimal airflow, with 45% free space, these louvers are ideal for wood, hollow metal, or plastic-laminated doors.
Each louver is fabricated from an 18-gauge cold rolled steel frame paired with 16-gauge adjustable blades, ensuring strength and long-term performance. The self-attaching frame includes a 1 1/4 in [31.7 mm] trim with mitered, welded corners. Screws fasten through the frame into the louver core, leaving the corridor-facing side clean and free of visible fasteners.
A spring-loaded fusible link mechanism activates at 165°F. When the link melts, the action bar engages, closing and locking all blades to help contain smoke and heat.
The SDL-FP louver is offered in a mineral bronze powder coat finish. Custom finishes, such as black or white, are also available. Other customizable options include insect and bird screens.
